In addition to registration, we have a few simple rules that all puppets and groups are required to observe:

• Puppets should be handcrafted locally.
• Puppets of any size shall be allowed to participate, however giant puppets are recommended.
• Puppets should be people-powered (walking and simple machines) with no motorized vehicles allowed.
• No written words on banners or puppets.
• No amplified sound or megaphones.
• No soliciting of any kind.
• Puppets and artwork must be copyright or trademark free.
• No distribution of flyers, food or other items.
• Your puppets and the delivery of that message must be peaceful and family-friendly.
• You must be respectful and follow the directions of parade officials, police officers and others charged with keeping the parade a safe and fun experience.
